CODAM 42

~= Account Registration =~

SOOOO.... Today I finally went to codam again, this time for the second time.

The first time I went was for information and an ID check I guess, I kinda forgor anyways.

Sooo this time, idk I was just super excited to go but also nervous cos, they were going to set my account up and I had been really curious to what it would look like (sadly not much yet).

I woke up in the morning at 9:30AM to go to codam and I was actually almost too late tbh, my girlfriend wasn't waking up even tho she said she was going to come with me, I mean tbh she shouldn't have anyways cuz the doctor told her she shouldn't go out for a weak due to low bloodpressure so yeah, made some matcha and coffee to get my body up and kicking and then some bread with blueberry jem and almond butter, WHICH TOOK WAYYY TO LONG, I WAS ALREADY STRESSING BY THIS POINT. (also I apologize for my weird comma placement, I missed the class when I was 7 years old.)

I had to make the mango and blueberry jem from scratch (ok well, not the traditional way,) BUT THOSE BLUEBERRIES JUST WOULDNT MUSH like giirlll I was already stressing, why you not mushingggggg.

Anyhow, after munching on my bread like a maniac hamster. I ran outside to the bus stop. Quite literally, I ran to the bus otherwise I would've been too late.

Then I successfully hit the bus and got to the central station and then walked to codam... I took the wrong way, inside the fricking cold, it was soOOOO COLD LIKE... SUN TURN THE F HEATER UP ITS WINTER. yeah so apparently I went out the wrong way and went allllll around the lake even tho I could've been there like 20-30 minutes earlier. ANNDDD THEN I FINALLY GOT INSIDE.

Once inside, I felt the heat but my brain hadn't restored yet, 2 girlies approached me from the codam team.. or something like that, they were incredibly nice but my brain had the loading screen. They told me about a QR code thing but my ears were, I guess they were temporarily erroring, I just couldn't understand but I nodded anyways. All I remembered was QR code thingie.

I (fuck I deleted the paragraphssss.) went to take a seat on a wooden bench thing, there wereee a ton of peopleee, like soo many, normally I have anxiety but I think cos my brain had loading time I just didn't process what was happening around me. My brain took like 30 minutes to reboot and so it was around 12pm then? They also gave me this card which I was confused about, it had a number on it but I mean I understood after like 20 minutes that it was for calling people in order. I think I waited like 3 hours until it was my turn.

Idk why but I had this urge to talk to people, oh yeah I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone first but my battery was like 13%, ye well, I forgor the power bank, silly me.

Anyways so I wanted to talk to people but I didn't cuz I was too shy but it looked really nice and coasy, (damn this chocolate TASTES SO FUCKING NICE,) people were playing on a small chess board on one side, behind me people were playing a huge chess board, some were playing ping pong, and there were soooo many people talking to each other. Tbh I didn't really fear talking to people as in they wouldn't like me or something cuz I know they would I am cool afterall, but I just had this weird brain loop that prevented me from doing the first talk, I mean, I'm also insanely autistic so, my communication is like brain freeze every sentence. After some time passed, a girl that had been sitting next to me for some time, like some meters away, approached me by asking me something and we started talking, I had a really nice conversation with her about coding and our interest in the school and stuff and it was just nice to have someone to talk to to pass the time of waiting. Cos it took likeeee~~~ 3 hours??? guesstimated.

Apparently she already did a masters so I guess there's a lot of people from higher education there attending the piscine, I'm just a highschool scrub who didn't even properly attend classes there, (was sleeping in class always.)

After talking for about 1-2 hours~? I finally got called and made an account, a girly with really pretty nails made the account and picture for me and then I had to go to a guy, I don't think he was having his day like in a chill af way, he was, super chill af like refridgerated level. I gave him some 10 dollan monners and he gave me a white card, it was literally completely white with some black stuff written at the bottom. Like bro that's it? If I made that card I would have atleast put some cute hearts on it. I wanted to actually but he said please don't put any stickers on it so. HOPES PERISHED. completely petrified.

Then after all of that which only took like 1 minute? ok maybe like 5 minutes. I went outside and facetimed my girlfriend on a 7% battery phone, I was so excited to see her again and tell about all the stuff that happened but then MY PHONE DIED ON ME, likeeee cmon couldn't have lasted a bit more to atleast show me the way homeeee. Luckily I had big brain and found the way back home tho, I took the right metro back to the station where I had to take the bus (took like 5 minutes of guessing, if I had to go south or north lol, I kept going back and forth to check the different maps at each railway side.) Then I took the bus and stepped off at the store, bought some fries, chocolate, chana chips, and uh yeah that was it.

My girlfriend was dead worried lol.

So yeah, that was my first day. If anyone is reading this, I apologize for the eyesore.
